I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist, with over a decade of specialized clinical experience. As an openly gay, trauma-informed, and sex-positive professional, I specialize in supporting the LGBTQ+ community and individuals living with HIV, as well as addressing substance use challenges, and managing diverse relationship dynamics. My practice, welcoming to all, focuses on sex therapy, and therapeutic interventions for trauma, anxiety, mood, and adjustment disorders. I provide tailored, empathetic care, understanding the unique challenges of everyone.
In my therapeutic approach, I blend a variety of proven techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone is entitled to a life that is authentic, safe, and fulfilling. A significant focus of our work together will be on cultivating healthy relationships with both oneself and others, as this is crucial in unlocking and embracing your truest self. Rest assured, our sessions are designed to be both professional and welcoming, ensuring a comfortable space for your personal growth and self-discovery.
I completed my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University, New York, in 2010. During my tenure in New York, I furthered my training with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, emphasizing care for LGBTQ+ outpatient adults. Over the past twelve years, I’ve had the honor of working with a myriad of individuals representing all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and diverse relationship configurations, including polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, kink, and BDSM.
